The filter opening must match the fan cutout: a 12038 fan pairs with a 120×120mm filter, and a 17251 fan with a 172×150mm filter. One in, one out: filter on the intake side, fan or exhaust grille on the outlet side.
What is the difference between G3 and G4 filters?
